Most Frequently Asked Questions Is the Engine Protector compatible with mineral and synthetic lubricants?
The special formula of our engine protector allows it to be used with both mineral and synthetic lubricants. By doing so, one can increase the effectiveness of the lubricant.
Is it safe to use the Engine Protector on diesel engines?
Even if by mistake, the engine protector is applied to a diesel engine, it will not cause any harm. However, this product was not designed for diesel engines and we recommend to it be used only on gasoline engines.
How often do you recommend to use the Fuel Injector Cleaner (Tank) ?
We recommend to use this product every time you refill the gas tank. This will result in better fuel consumption, as well as maintaining the refilling pumps, injectors and combustion chamber in best shape.
Will the Tank Injector Cleaner help correct flaws to the injectors?
Yes, as long as these are minor. This product is more for preventive than corrective use. For corrective use, we recommend professional use products such as the Pressurized and Pour Injector Cleaners.
Is it OK to use your polishes and waxes over areas to be repainted without causing damage to cars being painted?
Artlux offers are special polishing agent to be used over repainted surfaces which may be used without any problems. Please contact your distributor or your area Artlux representative to request more specific information on this product.
I have used your Car Shampoo brand before and even though it works well, it does not make a lot of foam. Why is this?
Artlux is concerned about our environment and we are developing products that satisfy current environmental regulations. Our Car Shampoo is low on suds to avoid polluting waterways and the environment. This product is free of detergents, salts and phosphates.
